ISSA is the only organization advocating for policies that create a pro-business environment where the entire cleaning supply chain, from in-house service providers and building service contractors to distributors and manufacturers can operate and grow. We aim to ensure that our advocacy focus closely aligns with specific member needs and concerns based on the issues they face the most.
Advocating For The Entire Cleaning Industry
Our government affairs and regulatory team works tirelessly with federal, state, and local regulators and policymakers to ensure that policies and regulations adopted allow the cleaning industry to be successful, while also providing their customers and the public with a cleaner and healthier environment. To help advance the interests of the entire cleaning industry we utilize the following strategies:
Engage
Engage our members, policymakers, regulators, the grass roots, staff, and allies on priority issues in a targeted and effective way.
Educate
Educate our members, policymakers, ISSA staff, and the public about the value of cleaning, our industry, and the positive economic and health impact we have on the world.
Evaluate
Continually measure, evaluate, and report our advocacy efforts and successes back to our members to show the value of their membership.
