Sofidel Supports Flood Relief Efforts in Italy
Sofidel has donated more than 150,000 rolls of its Regina-brand toilet paper and paper towels to two disaster relief organizations in Italy.
The Protezione Civile (the Italian National Civil Protection Service) and the Bologna Committee of the Italian Red Cross will distribute the donated Sofidel products to victims of the recent historic flooding in Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region. Heavy rains caused more than 20 rivers in the area to overflow earlier this month, resulting in more than 50,000 residents of the northern region being displaced due to the destruction.
