ISS Signs on to Support British Armed Forces

ISS LogoISS S/A, parent company of ISS Facility Services, recently announced the resigning of the Armed Forces Covenant.

According to a press release, the Armed Forces Covenant is a promise to acknowledge and understand that those who serve or have served in the British Armed Forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy, and society that they serve with their lives.

As part of their commitment, ISS pledged to promote the Armed Forces, support veterans and their spouses, raise awareness for Armed Forces Charities, and recognize national events such as Armed Forces Day and Remembrance Day.

ISS resigned the covenant at a ceremony hosted in its London office earlier this week. The event was attended by senior military attendees from the British Ministry of Defence, who spoke about their experiences.

“At ISS, we are proud to honor our Armed Forces community by resigning the Armed Forces Covenant,” said Martin Burholt, ISS chief operating officer of government, healthcare, and education. “Today’s event showcases our ongoing commitment to acknowledging the dedication of those in the military, and we were privileged to mark the occasion in the company of such esteemed guests.”
