ISS Commits to Hiring Refugees in Europe

ISS has announced a commitment to hire at least 1,000 refugees across its European business.

ISS made the promise at Tent Partnership for Refugee’s European Business Summit, which took place earlier this month in Paris. ISS is a longtime partner of the international nonprofit. Last year, at the Tent Partnership’s U.S. Business Summit, the company pledged to hire 1,000 refugees across its North America business by the end of 2025. ISS also is a member of Tent Partnership’s Sunflower Project, which provides mentorship and job placement for Ukrainian refugees.

“Every action counts. Every individual, every company, and every organization has the power to make a difference. However, with the severe humanitarian crises we are facing, we must collectively accelerate our social efforts to create lasting change for the benefit of people and society,” said Jacob Aarup-Andersen, ISS CEO. “ISS has a more than 120-year legacy as a people company, and we have always had a strong drive to make a true difference for people and societies. I strongly believe that by joining forces and unleashing the power of unity, we can ignite a movement that shapes a better future for all. I’m truly excited about all the commitments announced today.”
