Georgia-Pacific Hosts Charity Golf Tournament
Georgia-Pacific LLC, parent company of GP PRO, recently hosted the company’s annual charity golf tournament.
Georgia-Pacific teamed with national nonprofit City of Hope to host this year’s event at the Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek, Georgia. More than 250 Georgia-Pacific employees and suppliers participated in the tournament, which raised more than US$500,000 for cancer research and treatment. For two decades, the annual tournament has helped communities across the United States, raising a total of more than $4.3 million.
“Georgia-Pacific has always prioritized helping to improve the lives of others by focusing on solutions to contribute to prosperity through our economic activities and engaging in philanthropic activities,” said Lori Chennault, Georgia-Pacific senior vice president of sourcing. “This tournament is more than an event; it’s a celebration of shared values, meaningful connections, and the incredible capacity to make a difference when people come together with a purpose.”
