ABM Adds to UK Team
ABM recently expanded its leadership team for it’s ABM UK & Ireland division with the appointments of three executives.
Tony Hampson has been appointed vice president of operations. He joined ABM from Amey, where he served as director of operations. In his new position, he will oversee the expansion and integration of the company’s technical solutions division, a segment that the business has earmarked for growth. Additionally, Nick Northland has been promoted to commercial director for ABM’s business and industry (B&I) division, and David Donovan has been promoted to vice president of operations for the company’s soft services segment, Facilities Management Magazine reported.
“The opportunity for the B&I division is significant,” said Campbell Murdoch, ABM UK & Ireland B&I managing director. “We have a keen focus on leveraging our world class reputation for soft services as a platform to bolster our hard services business; and Tony’s extensive experience means he is well positioned to lead the team in achieving our ambitious plans.”
“Earlier this year we were awarded a significant contract with Transport for London (TfL) to provide mechanical and electrical services across the London Underground network,” Murdoch added. “It marked the strategic expansion of ABM’s longstanding relationship with TfL, providing cleaning services since 2017 and is a clear demonstration of the value we can offer our customers. David and Nic were pivotal to this win and will continue to bring this growth mindset to the team in their new roles.”
